Trading app development

Trading apps
clients open every day.

Most retail trading now happens on a phone — Plus500, for example, made 89% of its 2025 OTC revenue from clients on mobile or tablet. We design and build iOS and Android trading apps for brokers and fintechs, connected to MetaTrader 5, cTrader, your own trade server, or a market-data and brokerage API.

A trading app is judged in seconds: how fast quotes move, how few taps an order takes, and whether funding and verification work without a desktop. We build all three in from the start, and you own the code.

In short

  • Nima Dorostkar's team builds iOS and Android trading apps for brokers and fintechs — forex and CFDs, stocks and ETFs, or crypto.
  • Apps connect to MetaTrader 5, cTrader, a proprietary trade server, or a market-data and brokerage API, sharing one backend with the web terminal.
  • A focused trading app typically takes 2–4 months, and the client owns the source code.

What we build

Trading app development:
what's included.

  • Live quotes & charts

Streaming watchlists, interactive charts with indicators, and price alerts delivered by push.

  • One-tap order entry

Market and pending orders, SL/TP, and position management, with confirmation flows designed for thumbs.

  • In-app onboarding & KYC

Account opening, document capture from the camera, and liveness checks through your verification provider.

  • Deposits & withdrawals

Cards, local payment methods, and crypto, including Apple Pay and Google Pay where your payment provider supports them.

  • Security built in

Biometric login, device binding, two-factor authentication, certificate pinning, and session controls.

  • Engagement that brings clients back

Push notifications for fills, margin calls, and market events, plus news, calendar, and education inside the app.

How we build it

Engineered for
real money, from day one.

  1. 01One backend for every screen

The app uses the same real-time gateway as your web terminal, so positions and prices always agree.

  2. 02Native feel, shared code

React Native for shared logic, with native modules where performance and security matter most.

  3. 03Store-ready from day one

App Store and Google Play requirements for financial apps, privacy labels, and regional availability planned up front.

  4. 04Measured in production

Crash reporting, performance monitoring, and a funnel from install to first deposit and first trade.

Questions

Trading app development FAQ

How long does it take to build a trading app?

A focused trading app for an existing trading platform typically takes 2–4 months. Onboarding, funding, and a matching web terminal on the same backend are delivered in phases after that.

Should a trading app be native or React Native?

React Native lets one codebase serve iOS and Android, which speeds up delivery and keeps both apps in step. We add native modules for the parts where it matters — charts, biometrics, and secure storage — and recommend fully native apps only when a product needs platform features React Native can't reach.

Can the app connect to our MT5 or cTrader server?

Yes. The app talks to a gateway we build over your MetaTrader 5 server through the Manager and Web APIs, or over cTrader through its Open API, so your existing accounts and groups work in the app from day one.

Can you build stock or crypto trading apps as well as forex?

Yes. For stocks, ETFs, and crypto the app connects to your brokerage, exchange, or market-data APIs instead of a forex platform, with the same order entry, onboarding, and funding flows.
